DEKE’S LOST BOOK
Found by Daddy
by Della Cain and Kaytea Kat
Deke lost his book and found his new daddy.
Growing up, my grandfather read me the same book every night for years. I could and still can recite it word for word, especially after a rough day. I’m not one to care about owning stuff, but I miss that book and am still pissed at my uncle for selling it at the estate sale. He only got a buck for it, too. Somehow that made it worse.
When I get locked in the dressing room at Chained during a power outage, I curl up in a ball and start to recite the story, word for word. I don’t remember the sexy daddy coming in and finding me, or how he took care of me until I reunited with my friends. All I can remember is feeling safe with him.
But the daddy remembers me, and the next time he sees me, he hands me the book that has comforted me all these years. He saw it that day and knew it was special. Maybe one day he will see me as special, too.
Deke’s Lost Book is a sweet MM age play romance featuring a little whose jerk of a relative sells his favorite book, the daddy who finds it, snuggles, cuddles, stuffies, footie jams, a memorable day at Chained, new beginnings, some old friends, true love, the one who got away, and a guaranteed happily ever after. If you like your romances on the Hallmark side but a bit kinkier, check out Abbott’s Lost Spoon by USA Today Bestselling author Della Cain and her bestie and frequent partner in crime, Kaytea Kat.
