Driving from Michigan to Georgia, Cherry manages to follow a line of thunderstorms. Low on fuel, she stops in a deserted town. Lightning has plunged the town into darkness. Now, Cherry can't get gas, and her cell phone doesn’t have signal. Contemplating what to do, she’s approached by a mysterious male named Elliot Dupree who befriends her.
