Stuck in the pouring rain at the side of the road in a town I have lived in for exactly one day wasn’t on my to-do list, but here I am. Stupid flat tire.
No problem. I have roadside assistance…only you need a phone for that and mine just fell into the storm drain. I’m screwed.

I want to repay him for his kindness. He refuses my money. I can’t let him go with only a thank you and give him the ultimate reward, tucking my prized unicorn bracelet into his jacket pocket.
