THE FIRST YEAR CONTINUED by Mazzy J. March
Leave it to me to bite the first guy who was nice to me.
Adjusting to the Marked Blood Academy is going about as well as I dreaded. Call it what they may, it is more of a prison, maybe like a juvenile facility although we are all young adults, than an “academy.” And I have my experience at The Urban Academy to compare it to.
Back then, I thought I was unhappy. I didn’t quite fit in, never had a group of friends to hang out with, and everyone seemed to pair up—or harem up. Sometimes it felt like a romance academy. Not for me. I never felt the least bit of attraction to anyone anyway. But there is not one but three guys my wolf is doing growly backflips over. This is not the time to be fooling around.
Especially with what I just discovered in the shower.
We are here because we are a danger to the community. We have all been bitten by vampires in battle or elsewhere and not turned or died. Most of us got very sick for a while, but the powers that be are afraid we could turn at any time.
If this is such a safe place, how did a new vampire bite appear on my belly? Definitely not the time to be interested in romance. This is a battle for survival.
The First Year Continued is the second in the Marked Blood Academy series. When a whole new type of vampires descends upon the world, none of the rules apply. In the past, you died or were changed, but now some young people do neither…so far. And those victims are a wild card who the councils decide must be segregated from the rest. Nothing the headmistress of Urban Academy or any of the other schools sways the council. The students bear the marks, the stain, the shame of something they had no control over and are imprisoned without benefit of trial. None of the rules for their protection apply.

THE FIRST YEAR by Mazzy J. March I was fanged by a vampire. I am a wolf shifter, and even though I did not turn, I’ve been taken from my school and deposited in one in the middle of nowhere to make sure I cannot harm others. I still feel like me, but nobody else seems to think [...]

URBAN ACADEMY REJECTS: SEDITION by Mazzy J. MarchI came to the Urban Rehabilitation Academy for refuge from the Light Kingdom. There was only one thing I had to do–hide my wolves. That's right. Wolves. Plural. As in two, which is apparently a bad thing. Not even a whole semester, and I’ve messed up. One of [...]

URBAN ACADEMY REJECTS: RENEGADE by Mazzy J. March There are two wolves inside me. One I was born with and one born of trauma. Trauma I don’t remember and no one will tell me about. There’s no other shifter like me and for that reason, I can never have a mate. Life is hard enough running from the [...]

URBAN ACADEMY: SEMESTER 9 by Mazzy J. March With finals over, and the winter season upon us, we can all enjoy the holidays. Most of the students from the Urban Academy have headed home for a much-deserved break, but my mates and I have decided to stay and create a special Yule season together. Jo, my boss [...]

URBAN ACADEMY: SEMESTER 8 by Mazzy J. MarchAsherI swore I wouldn't sleep until we got Onyx back, but even a shifter can only stay awake for so long. I finally passed out after a few days and woke loathing myself. Raven was at my side, telling me it would be all right, that we’d find [...]

URBAN ACADEMY: SEMESTER 6 by Mazzy J. March Valentina We won the battle, but the war is not over. My mates and I have met the enemy, learned my heritage, and discovered why I was the focus of evil for so long. I have an evil uncle and cousins. One was sent to kill me but now she’s [...]

URBAN ACADEMY: SEMESTER 4 by Mazzy J. March I made a deal with a coven for the life of my mate. In exchange, in my haste, I allowed them to absorb my powers. Powers I’d only come into for a short time. They stole them. I was an ignorant human, desperate for my mate. They took [...]

A CONSPIRACY by Mazzy J. March Everyone at this school hates me. At least, they have to act that way in public. The only reason I came to the Raven Academy was because it was either this place or live on the streets. Honestly, I may have made the wrong decision. I’ve been caught accidentally chatting with a [...]
